A flight over the Pacific will take us to the Galapagos Islands, we will arrive at Baltra airport and be transferred to Puerto Ayora dock, just at our arrival we will already get to see the sea lions sleeping on the benches of the town and iguanas walking around, taking sun baths.
At 2:00 pm we will take the fast boat to Isabela Island, it takes two hours to cross the sea and it is possible to see whales and dolphins in season. While in Isabela we can enjoy the beach and a perfect first dinner.

Today we will get to see the first giant tortoises, the most famous specie of the Galapagos. To get to the breeding center we will pass by the iguana crossing, where iguanas of all sizes mix with the path. On the way we will also see the wetlands with flamingo lagoons and other shore birds resting. At the end of the road we will reach the center where several different species of giant tortoises can be found in all stages of life, from babies to grown ups.
In the afternoon, we will head to the Tintoreras islet, not far from Puerto Villamil coast and one of the favorite places for the penguins to dry up. The first snorkeling exploration takes places at this spot, underneath the sea it is possible to find turtles and rays.

Today we will see the Best of the Galapagos islands, the snorkeling in Lava Tunnels is definitely something out of this world. The water is so clear, it is possible to see it’s bottom even from the boat. The area is so rich in nutrients making many species of wildlife easily spotted. There are no strong currents around, so it is quiet enough to take all the time to see it all.
The lava has formed underwater tunnels where white-tipped sharks have made their caves. In season it is possible to see sea horses and you can always count on swimming with a giant turtle! Later, we will have a land exploration to see the blue-footed boobies nesting, hatching where it is also possible to see babies.

We start the day early, we will first take the boat back to Santa Cruz island from Isabela. After our arrival, we head to our hotel to check in and fresh up, later our guide will pick us up to take us to the Charles Darwin Station to learn about conservation and all the projects running in the islands. There is also an special exhibit to see the famous Lonesome George.
In the afternoon, we will head to the highlands of Santa Cruz, in one of the ranches we will have the chance to see the giant tortoises in the wild and on clear days we can also see the volcanic formations of the area.

It is time to go back to Ecuador Mainland, having seen the best of Galapagos we take our last photos and memories and head back to Baltra airport where we will board our flight back to the continent.
