Once I have made my booking is it confirmed immediately?

Your booking is not immediately confirmed. We will not take your payment until we check availability with the boat. When we are sure your spots are available, we confirm that with the boat. Only then will we email you with payment details. Once you have submitted the payment, we confirm your places with the boat, and we confirm your booking.

I need to speak to someone to make my booking. How can I do that?

How can I see the itinerary for the cruise and dates I want?

If you choose a date for the cruise, when you get to the next page the system will display more information. This will include cruise information such as the itinerary and boat specifications. If you would like more information about your boat, there will be a link there where you can find more.

Do you have cancellation policies, and what are they?

Why am I not able to select the flight I want?

We need to first double check availability of your cruise and local flights before you can book a flight of your preference.

The boat I want does not show up when I try to book. What should I do?

The boat might not be available for the dates you want. Get in touch and we can check or offer you an alternative.

Can I stay on for longer in the Galapagos Islands after my cruise?

Yes. If you get in touch, we can help you organize this for you.

Can I fly from Guayaquil and return to Quito.

Yes. We can organize the flight route you would like. No problem at all.

How can I make a booking on your website?

Select the dates you want to travel as well as the number of people, the boat, and the itinerary. You then need to select the accommodation type (cabin, number of beds). After that the system will ask for your details (names, email etc.) and then you can choose the payment type. After you have submitted the information to us you will get a booking email which will tell you how to pay. When you have paid you will get a confirmation email.

What happens if I change my mind after paying?

Our cancellation policies apply once you have made payment. Do get in touch with a member of staff if you have any questions about this.

The system will not let me select the cabin I want. Why not?

If the cruise only has a few spots left a cabin will be automatically assigned. If availability is good, you should be able to select the cabin and accommodation type that you want. If you have any issues get in touch with our team.

I already booked with you, and I want to add another person to my booking. Can I do that?

As long as there is still availability then you can. Talk to a member of staff who can help you do this.

Can I organize a private charter of the entire boat?

Yes, it is possible to arrange charters subject to availability. Get in touch and we can organize a charter option for you.

How can I let you know about my special requirements or dietary restrictions?

When you have booked a team member will be in touch to ask about any special requirements you might have and you can tell them then.

Can I combine my Galapagos Islands trip with other tours?

Of course! We can organize a lot of different options for Ecuador or Peru either before or after your Galapagos cruise. Get in touch with a team member to find out more. You can also look over the tours we offer. We can also customize trips for you.

Questions about payments

Is there a single supplement to pay?

Yes and no – it depends on what you book and how you book. Most cabins on the cruises are doubles. There are very few singles. If you make your booking online and just for yourself the price will be for the whole cabin, which will almost always be for a double. In this scenario you will be paying a single supplement. Some cruises provide the option to share a cabin, so if you want to do that just let us know and we will find something for you.

Why is traveling with three double the price of traveling with two?

In most cases there are no triple occupancy cabins. This means when you book online there usually is not a triple occupancy option available. If you want to book triple occupancy let us know. Triple cabins will not apply a single supplement fee.

My payment will not process, can you help?

Will I pay less for my kids to travel?

Usually, yes, if your kids are under 12 years old. There is a discount for children on most boats, but this depends on the cruise. If the cruise is already having a special promotion, you might not be able to get a discount for your children on top of that. Tell us about your under-12s when making your booking.

Do I have to pay the whole cost on booking, or can I pay a deposit?

It is fine to just pay a deposit of 25% on booking. You will need to pay the remainder of 75% no less than 60 days before the first day of your cruise. When booking online, the system requires you pay the total fee, so if you prefer to just pay a deposit, get in touch with our staff and we can organize this for you.

Can you give me written proof that my trip is booked?

Yes. Once your trip is paid for and confirmed, one of our staff will get in touch with you and send you all the trip documentation you need.
