The Tandayapa Bird Lodge is right in the heart of the Andean cloud forest. There are over 30 hummingbird species that have been identified here and dozens of species can be spotted on any given day. In fact, there are over 100 bird species that can be seen from the balcony of this lodge alone.
Day 1: 5:30 am pickup from your hotel in Quito. Birding at Yanacocha and the Nono-Mindo eco route with a packed lunch. Night in Tandayapa Bird Lodge.
Day 2: Full day birding in the Tandayapa Valley. You can have lunch at the lodge or take a packed lunch. Afternoon return to Quito, arriving around 6 pm at your hotel.
